First Class Homelink Tesla Model S

In 2019 I had to order the Homelink module - which was shipped to the SC.

However as it turns out the problem isnt that the Tesla Model S is missing Homelink but that its rather complicated. Pairing allows you to use your Bluetooth-capable phone hands-free to make and receive phone calls access your contact list recent calls etc. Tesla has the easiest HomeLink to set-up.

My understanding is that the Homelink transceiver on the latest Model S is located near the left hand as you sit in the vehicle front dash speaker. Found some older Homelink threadsposts but Im left wondering what the current statuspolicy is re Homelink installation. Hopefully Tesla will see this and make the fix for future Model Y vehicles.

Homelink was included in Teslas vehicles as a standard feature up until the company removed it from the Model 3 in May 2019. Once a phone is paired Model S can connect to it whenever the phone is within range. The homelink system works by analysing the signal from your garagegate remote control.
